The Chastain Park Athletic Club (CPAC) is proud to be in our 12th season of managing the Chastain Park Pool, which was built in about 1940. We opened for a special event on the morning of Sunday, May 5th as co-host of the 3rd Annual Chastain Park TriPATHlon. Our regular pool season started on Saturday, May 11th and we plan to remain open through at least mid-September. We open at 3:30 PM on weekdays while the public schools are in session. We open at 10 AM on weekends and when school is out of session.

Last summer was highlighted by more grounds improvements and thousands of visitors from youth camps, swim lessons, stroke clinics, neighborhood gatherings and our 2012 Runner-up (2011, 2010 and 2008 Runner-up, 2009 Champion) Tidal Waves Swim Team. Moreover, we are focused on ways to enhance our existing facilities, as well as fund and phase in the future facilities.

The Chastain Park Athletic Club, a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization was established 2002 to save our public swimming pool, develop new facilities and serve our community. CPAC promotes aquatics, health, recreation and safety. In 2003, we created the successful Chastain Park Tidal Waves Swim Team to teach children how to swim properly in a competitive environment, while having fun. Our community pool is clean, refreshing, and available to the public.
